Keeping our Cubs safe.
Safeguarding at Curious Cubs Hub
At Curious Cubs Hub the safety wellbeing and welfare of every child in our care is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where children can learn, explore and grow with confidence. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and all members of the Curious Cubs team are expected to recognise concerns, respond appropriately and always act in the best interests of the child.
Our safeguarding procedures apply across Curious Cubs Hub provision including home tuition, educational activities and our Adventure Camps.
Our Commitment:
• Appropriate DBS and suitability checks for those working with children
• Safeguarding procedures followed across our provision
• Clear professional boundaries
• Concerns taken seriously and acted upon appropriately
• Children encouraged to speak up and know they will be listened to
Raising a Concern:
If a child shares something that causes concern, we will listen carefully, record the information appropriately and follow our safeguarding procedures. Where necessary, concerns will be shared with the relevant safeguarding professionals.
Our Safeguarding Promise:
Every cub deserves to:
-
Feel safe and welcomed
-
Be listened to and taken seriously
-

-
Know who they can speak to if something is wrong
-
