Building Confident Learners⭐

What do I need to prepare before a session?

Nothing all resources is provided by us.

What are your teaching methods? How do you assess my child and how do I get to know about progress?

Our teaching is interactive, practical and tailored to each child's individual needs.

We begin with a play-based assessment to create a personalised learning plan and adapt sessions as your child grows in confidence. Assessment preparation is also available where needed.

Do you set homework?

No traditional homework is set. We may occasionally suggest optional activities to reinforce learning at home where appropriate.

Do you have SEND experience?

Yes. With 16 years of educational experience, we have supported many children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our qualifications include Level 2 & 3 Understanding Autism, Level 2 Dyslexia Awareness, Level 2 Dyscalculia Awareness, Level 2 ADHD Awareness, alongside Makaton and PECS training. This enables us to provide personalised, supportive learning tailored to each child's individual strengths and needs.

We take a holistic approach by working closely with parents and considering EHCPs, school reports, professional assessments and ongoing observations to provide the best possible support. Where appropriate, we can also provide progress feedback and educational evidence to support referral and assessment processes.

What do I need to prepare before a session?

Very little. Curious Cubs Hub provides all learning resources and carefully plans each session around your child's individual needs and goals. We simply ask that your child has a quiet space to learn and is ready to grow, explore and have fun.
